Get going with a 101 km with the same Eco experience as the 301 Big Walk – without the competition.
The walk will take you on gravel roads and foot paths, through to the heartland of the daisies. Flower time in Namaqualand is one of the nature wonders of South Africa. Walking is the best way to experience the flowers. Visit places like Goegap and Namaqualand Nature reserves, with its unique orange daisies, the cultural villages of Leliefontein and Nourivier to Garies. Walk the Kammies Mountains - where the going gets tough and the tough get going - with new friends on your side – into the “Knersvlakte” with it’s unique succulents to finish at ‘De Punt’ where the Olifants River flows into the sea.
This walk offers everyone that participate an unbelievable experience. The walk was designed for the social walker without the competition and extreme challenges of the “301”, but with ALL the Eco experiences that the area’s unique beauty has to offer. After registration you will receive ‘SPORE’ Newsletters with checklists, recommendations on training, walking equipment and general information i.e. traveling, with a finalised programme.
